A Glimpse of Paris…with Kids

Jet-lag doesn’t matter when you’re chasing pigeons through Les Tuilleries!

Ella & I looking at her fave painting at L’Orangerie museum.

Outside the Louvre, minutes before our first “Rude Parisian Waiter” experience. We figured you have to have at least one of these. It wasn’t anything he said – it was the sheer boredom in his eyes as he forced himself to suffer through our terrible attempts at French. (Little does he know, I can still swear like a sailor en Francais!)

“They sure have a lot of paintings of naked women in here, Mommy.” – Fiona

Monet’s Water Lilies are in this fantastic space – drenched in natural light – just as Monet wanted. To be this close to these works of art was mind-blowing for all of us.

Lots of steps everywhere that lead down to the pathways beside the River Seine.

  1. I just caught up on your travels, you lucky dog, you! Looks like an AMAZING trip despite rude waiters, horrible boat tours and downpour without umbrellas. :-)
