Ella’s Take On Gumballs

We passed a gumball machine the other day, and I never carry coins (who does anymore? To me, coins are old fashioned. I equate them with dubloons…!) The only times I ever regret not carrying coins are if there’s a parking meter, and when Ella sees a gumball machine at the supermarket.

So she sees the gumball machine, and she says this:

Ella: “Why don’t gumball machines take ATM cards? Don’t you think they should?”
