10 Women I Admire

Our friend Stasha has chosen this week’s listicles topic in honor of International Women’s Day  - 10 things to do with women. Stasha pointed out that even though this is a day invented in America, we Americans don’t really celebrate it. So I’m celebrating it by listing 10 women in history who I admire. Just for fun I’m not putting their names – see if you can guess who they are!

  20. Annie Lennox is HIV Positive? I always loved her and she’s SO BEAUTIFUL. I got Helen Keller and of course Princess Di and Stunningly Beautifully Gorgeous Audrey Hepburn (I believe Anne Hathaway is the Audrey Hepburn of today). And Rosa Parks but only with the hint.

    • She’s not HIV positive (I don’t think) – wearing the shirt was her way of taking the stigma out of it, I think it was a campaign to make people who have HIV feel more positive. (-: Agreed re. the Ann Hathaway thing!
