More Stuff Ella Says

What she said: “Can we go buy a pink lasagne from the lasagne ladies?”
What she meant: “Can we go buy a pink Azalea from the Azalea ladies?”

(After she found out it was Bring Your Child to Work day & it was too late for her to go to Daddy’s office:) “Then I’ll just go to work with you today. Can I crawl into bed with you and blog?”

“I want to learn Spanish, French, and Californian.”

“Doesn’t that cloud look just like Mount Olympus?”

“Can’t talk right now – I’m practicing my flying. I’ve got to nail flapping and swooping.”

“How do you think a caterpillar giggles?”

“I really don’t want to eat Amish friendship bread that’s 100 years old because it’s probably stale.”

“Humans aren’t the only ones with a sixth sense – platypuses have it, too.”

“Lightning the gecko took a one way trip to the graveyard.”

(To the bishop right after they met:) “It’s not everyday you get to meet a bishop, you know!”

“Do you keep growing up forever or is there a time when you stop?”

(After her first day of school.) “It turns out that God didn’t create the whole world. There was this thing called the Big Bang.”

“When you’re born human you already know everything that’s important to know. You just need a few lessons to help you grow up.”

“When you become a mommy do you ever get to stop mothering?”

“But who gets the Tooth Fairy’s tooth?”

“You’re my hot water bottle.”
