Does it count as running away if…
- she stayed under the awning at the front door for about 5 minutes,
- then built an umbrella safe house in the rain,
- then invited her little sister in,
- then asked for “room service,”
- so we all had Lucky Charms on or near the doorstep fort for dinner? (-:

(FYI, she was mad at me for making a “no Netflix or electronics during the week” rule.)

I think, more kids would run away if they got to eat Lucky Charms for dinner on the front stoop!!!

Sure it’s ‘running away’ – she’s outside right?
When I was a kid and told my mom I was going to run away to my grandmother’s, she offered to drive me there. Hah!

Your mom’s a softie!
Oh this made me laugh! Sounds like something I would have done.

I’d vote “does not count”. Did she shun you? Definitely. Sort of like sticking her tongue out at you, without getting caught doing it!!

That is way too cute. You are blessed with two adorable girls. I think I would prefer this method of running away to the alternative. This version is a lot more fun for everyone!

This is seriously cracking me up. Room service! LOL I ran away once, but I actually got as far away as the mailbox at the end of the yard. Then again, it wasn’t raining when I left – that might have changed things.
